It makes four large thick waffles which is plenty for feeding a family of 3 or 4 and although it is nice to have the option of making pancakes with this waffle maker, we rarely do so, because it only makes four small pancakes at a time, which doesn't seem feasible when you need to make a batch of pancakes for the family.
